LG released 18 inches of flexible and translucent organic EL display, a curvature radius of 3cm

LG Display Corporation announced the development of a flexible organic EL display 18 inches and 18 inches translucent organic EL display. The company also said, "There is confidence in 2017 to develop a curvature radius of 10cm, light transmission rate of more than 40%, the size of 60 inches or more flexible 4K displays."

        The developed pixels flexible organic EL display panel is 1200 × 810, the minimum radius of curvature of reach 3cm. According to LG, this is by using a polyimide film on a flexible display backplanes achieved.

        On the other hand, the light transmittance of the translucent screen 30 percent. The LCD also has a translucent type, but LG Display said, "the light transmittance of existing transparent LCD screen only about 10%."
