Japanese companies has developed 10Gbps plastic optical fiber transmission module and cutting tools


Present multi-communication industry has developed the concept of two transmission module section and special cutting tools for 10Gbps high-speed transmission plastic optical fiber (GI type POF). For 2020 television broadcasting as well as "8K Super Fine" medical image uses, wiring between devices and other processes to develop high-quality demand for the GI type POF is expected to expand. Therefore, multiple communication industry by adjusting the cutting speed and blade material, established GI type POF cutting technology, has developed a cutting tool can be used for the construction site.

In addition, as the company's main product connector aspect, this also developed a GI type POF of two transmission module. One is between the LC type optical connector of "passive type", with each one receiving channel. The other is inside the connector embodiment electro-optical conversion of "active type", with two each transceiver channel. Both modules will be available in January 2016.
