10 minutes fully charged lithium battery, ELIIYPower for the development of wind power and robotics

Japan ELIIYPower Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo) has developed a 10-minute fully charged lithium ion secondary battery "high rate battery." Envisaged for wind power generation, the movable body and robots, plans to begin production in the year 2015.

The battery uses a combination of high current density lithium iron phosphate cathode material. ELIIYPower fixed previously produced lithium ion secondary batteries have achieved a high security in Sting, crush and overcharge test does not occur in the case of smoke and fire. Such new products to maintain security, and is capable of fast charging (FIG). The battery provides up to 30 times the rated capacity of the current, temperature range of -30 ~ + 65 ℃, higher than the original fixed type lithium ion secondary battery.
